Our modern studio apartment is part of a 19th century house and shop. This apartment is in the portion of the building which has served various commercial uses, throughout the home's history. In the past this studio has housed a shoe maker, a church, a bakery, a salon, and even a laboratory. This heritage imparts extra character, and offers the experience of being part of the action of daily life passing by the large picture windows. Modern day action is primarily school kids coming and going from the elementary school across the street, neighbors out walking their dogs, and periodic horse drawn carriages passing by in grand Savannah fashion. We provide a white noise machine, and privacy window treatments to allow guests a controlled level of privacy in the apartment. The apartment also offers a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, a range, microwave and toaster oven. It's well appointed for visitors, but it does not have full-sized appliances or an oven
